A living vertical garden for a high-rise residence in Lower Parel — 189 plants across 27 species, with civil works, pots and plantation, all owned outright by the client.
A high-rise residence at Indiabulls Sky Forest in Lower Parel, wanting a genuine living wall rather than a decorative one — greenery that grows and changes, on a scale that reads from across the room.
189 plants across 27 species, held in a vertical system that required civil works to install properly: framing, waterproofing and irrigation behind the planting. Species were zoned by how light falls down the wall, because vertical light drops off sharply and a single species across the whole face would fail in its lower third.
Everything — plants, pots, plantation and the structure itself — was handed over as a fully owned asset under The Setup. Nothing about the installation is rented.
Unlike a preserved-moss build, a vertical garden of this size is an ongoing commitment. It joins an annual maintenance contract so that pruning, feeding, pest care and replacement happen on a fixed cadence rather than when something has already gone visibly wrong.
For the zero-upkeep alternative to this approach, see the IPCA Laboratories preserved-moss project.
